This Eric Carle book starts in the Autumn when we see seeds blown from a flower in the wing. One of the seeds flies higher than the others as they sail through the sky. This seed flies too high and the suns rays burn it up. But the Tiny Seed sails on with the others and escapes the suns burning rays.
