Effective Date: June 27th, 2025

VideoLink supports the protection of intellectual property rights and expects all users to do the same. We comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and provide this page to explain how to submit a copyright complaint.

Hosting Disclaimer

As of now, VideoLink does not host third-party video content directly. Videos displayed on our platform are embedded from external services such as YouTube or Vimeo, using their official embed functionality. These platforms control whether videos can be embedded or played externally.

If you are a copyright holder, we recommend first using the takedown or rights management tools available on the original platform. If the content is removed or restricted at the source, it will no longer be accessible via VideoLink.

If VideoLink begins hosting video content directly in the future, this policy will be updated. In the meantime, if you believe embedded content on VideoLink infringes your rights and has not been properly addressed by the original hosting service, you may submit a takedown request directly to us.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

To submit a DMCA takedown notice, please send a written request that includes all of the following information:

  • Your full name and contact information (including mailing address, phone number, and email)
  • Identification of the copyrighted work(s) you believe are being infringed
  • The URL(s) or exact location of the allegedly infringing material on VideoLink
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Notices that do not contain all required elements may not receive a response.

2. How to Submit

Email your DMCA notice to: [email protected]

Please allow a reasonable period for processing. If we verify your claim, we may disable access to the content or take other appropriate action.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe content was removed or restricted in error, you may submit a counter-notification. It must include:

  • Your name, address, and contact details
  • A description of the material and its original URL before takedown
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake
  • A statement that you consent to jurisdiction in the courts of Wyoming and will accept service of process from the original complainant
  • Your signature (physical or electronic)

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content unless the original complainant files a legal action within 10 business days.

4. Important Notice

Knowingly submitting false claims or counter-notices may result in legal liability. If you are unsure whether material infringes your copyright or whether fair use applies, consult with a legal advisor before submitting a claim.
