The show follows the life of Lucy Ricardo, played by Lucille Ball, a young middle-class wife, who spends most of her days concocting plans on how to enter the fascinating world of show business or at least figure some way to appear alongside her husband, Ricky Ricardo, portrayed by Lucille Balls real-life husband Desi Arnaz, a musician who regularly performs at a night club.
