In this video we look at doubling. If we double a number we have two of them so we can think of it as either adding them together or multiplying by 2. We use our bubbles to demonstrate how the two numbers together make a double number. This doubles song for kids is a fun way for children to remember their doubles of 1 to 10. The song gives the sums and answers in the first half and then in the second half of the song asks the students to shout out the answers to the sums on their own, before being shown the correct answer.
