We help kids understand a fraction is one part of a whole and that a fraction can only be a fraction if divided into equal parts. We also review the numbers on top are Numerators and the numbers on bottom are the Denominators. The video is great review and introduction to Third Grade Elementary Mathematics involving fractions.

As students progress with division this basic understanding of fractions will help them in their learning.
