The raw power and energy of Jalikundas djembe drumming riveted the attention and delighted the crowd that attended the 1st African Music Festival on the tiny Island of Montserrat in the Caribbean in 2013. The festival, held in Salem Cricket ground, was repeated the next year and on popular request, Jalikunda returned and wowed the crowds in Montserrat again.
