Legislation designating the month of January of each year as “Muslim Heritage Month” in the State of New Jersey recently passed both Houses. This designation would allow the State and its residents to respectfully acknowledge and promote awareness and appreciation of Muslim Americans and recognize the positive impact Muslims have made, and continue to make, to the advancement of this State and the nation.
