The 97th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade returned to New York City with its giant balloons and spectacular floats - with people lining the streets to enjoy fan favourites like Spongebob SquarePants and Goku, and a few new characters along the way like Beagle Scout Snoopy, Monkey D. Luffy, and Po from "Kung Fu Panda."

Celebrities joined the parade, including boy band Enhyphen, who waved to fans from a Baby Shark float.

A few close calls this year with the slight winds, including Smokey the Bear needing a few extra seconds to stand upright.
