We are sharing this story in honor of DD Awareness Month 2015. Children with disabilities are just like everyone else. They want to have friends. They want to belong. In this story, Brian feels invisible. He often sits by himself when the other children are playing. Brians experience at school changes when he makes a friend. A friend can make all the difference to someone who is feeling invisible. Dont be afraid to reach out to someone who may seem different from you. Everyone needs a friend-- and your kindness can make a big difference!
