For this activity, you will need a pencil, black Sharpie, ruler, 2 pieces of paper, and markers.

Before you begin, please watch the tutorial on today’s art lesson.

Today we will be doing 3D hand art!

Learn how to make it happen, and create our very own piece.

Here are the steps:

1- Gather all of your materials

2- Watch the tutorial. If the link does not work, use this: -

3- Decide what type of colors marker want to use for your pattern (choose 2-3 colors)

4- Use your pencil to outline your hand

5- Use the ruler to draw lines from one side of the paper to the next, but make sure you skip your hand!

6- After you have finished your lines with the pencil part, trace the pencil lines with a Sharpie.

(Note: you are not outlining the hand!)

7- Use your pencil to make arches from one part of the hand to the other.

8- If your arches look good... Trace over them with a Sharpie!

9- Erase any leftover pencil on the paper.

10- Use Markers to color line spaces in a pattern.
