In this video, my daughter and I will be teaching your children how they can draw a cylinder (kids love making things look 3D) and turning that shape into Pop Art Andy Warhol Soup Cans!
I have provided two options in this video.
Option #1 is one large soup can on the page (starts at the 4 minute mark)
Option #2 is 4 smaller soup cans on one page (starts at the 8 minute and 45 second mark)
There is a brief introduction to Warhol at the beginning of the lesson as well.
All you (or your kids) need to do is hit play, and I’ll take it from there - I’d recommend letting them watch the video and see which option they’d like to try - or try both!
The following supplies will be needed:
* paper
* pencil
* something to color with like crayons, markers or colored pencils
* watercolor paint & paint brush (optional)
* this video (to show all the steps of this project)
I also have a blog post about this lesson - you will find it here: www.jennyknappenberger.com/andy-warhol-f
